Fishing sucks

With the exception of the mackerel everything from cod to striper’s are non existent. Don’t think about going for awhile unless you A. Like dogfish, or B. just want to get out and don,t care if you have anything to show for it at the end of the day.

Not much of a day, charter wanted to go for bottom fish, so off we went. Many dogfish and only a handful of haddock to show for our attempt. I hope tomorrow’s group will listen to the voice of reason. The lovely and talented Miss Courtney returns tomorrow so she should make things right.

Off today, working on boat in morning and staying cool this afternoon. Yesterday was a half day striper trip in the morning with good results, 30 – 40 bass and 5 keepers.

As usual the boat broke while capt. Nate was running it. It never seems to break much while I’m there but let someone else take her out and all hell breaks loose. Soooo today was spent fixing the shit that broke yesterday. Oh well.
