Weather day today, dropped my bow off to be tuned, went to the Kittery trading post for fishing supplies, picked up a trap gun on the way back, drank beer and ate bar-b-q the rest of the day. Back at it tomorrow.

Update

yesterday was outstanding onshore, haddock and cod, the biggest being 30 pounds. today started out slow inside but after a move outside all hell broke lose and ended up quite well with cod and haddock, all nice stuff.
Many pictures to post but forgot the camera on the boat, so stand by untill tomorrow.

Freaking wet and wild today, weather wise

We got out, and the wind wasn’t too bad until after we got anchored up, then Christ all mighty let the wind go and it blew an average of 25 knots with gusts up to 30+ out of the west all day. We took a royal thrashing. Fishing was tough with the boat swinging around [...]

Great day to be fishing

We had to fish in a crowd of boats all day but the weather and fishing made for a nice day close to home. Pictures are of the charter with some of their bigger cod, 30 pounds up to 48 pounds, mate Robbie with a 55 pound cod, and a shot of a fellow charter [...]

We didn’t get any today, but we did give the area a shot this morning and caught a half dozen fair cod before heading out to Jefferies in search of haddock. We managed to put together a fair catch of haddock and cod before it was time to head home.
